My Hometown

I was born and raised in Corbin, Kentucky. Founded around 1895, Corbin is a small town located in southeastern Kentucky, known for its rich history and close-knit community. Before being a small town, it was a bustling railroad hub, starting around 1882. The city is famous for being the birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and has a charming downtown area with local shops and restaurants.

My Education and Career Plans

I originally graduated back in 2024 with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration and pursued a career in accounting. After a year in the field and some life events, I found that was not the path I was meant to be on and came back to obtain a degree in Information Technology. My hopes after graduating is to onboard at Corbin High School's IT department and work my way up as I continue to learn and grow in the field.

My Relationship with the Internet

I have known about the internet for as long as I can remember, but didn't really begin to use it until I was around 10 years old. I have always been fascinated by the internet and the endless possibilities it offers. From social media to online gaming, the internet has become an integral part of my life. I enjoy exploring new websites, learning about different topics, and staying connected with friends and family through various online platforms. I truly couldn't imagine a world that isn't as interconnected as the one we live in today without the internet.
